Who is Journey Fatu? The next real-life Bloodline member who could eventually join WWE
In recent years, WWE has signed numerous superstars to perform in the Stamford-based promotion. One significant development in this regard is the introduction of new members to The Bloodline. In a short span, the WWE Universe has seen Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa make their WWE debuts, adding layers to the ongoing family drama.
Amidst this, Rikishi has given the fans a look at another real-life Bloodline member who is poised to join WWE in the near future and his name is Journey Fatu. Journey is a 28-year-old talent who's currently making waves in the independent wrestling scene. The Hall of Famer recently introduced Journey on his official Instagram account, captioning the post with, "You’ll remember his name soon."
This suggests that Rikishi was hinting at Journey’s imminent debut on the grand stage. Fans have already begun speculating about Journey’s potential role in The Bloodline saga. However, some fans have taken to social media to poke fun at the seemingly endless expansion of The Bloodline, joking that new members were being introduced every month.
Journey Fatu is the real-life younger brother of current WWE Superstar, Jacob Fatu, who is already entangled in the family drama as a member of Solo Sikoa’s faction. Journey recently made headlines when he requested a Saudi-themed outfit from a Bloodline member during their visit to the country for Crown Jewel 2024.
It will be intriguing to see how Journey Fatu's journey unfolds. Only time will tell whether he joins The Samoan Werewolf in the company and further expands The Bloodline narrative.
What does Rikishi think about Journey Fatu joining WWE?
A few months ago, Rikishi, during one of his conversations on his podcast, shared his thoughts on Journey potentially joining World Wrestling Entertainment anytime soon.
The Hall of Famer stated:
“Journey can adapt. He’s WWE material right now. Journey doesn't look like the rest of us. You know Journey has his own look, right? If they do decide to pick up Journey Fatu, which is Jacob’s younger brother, Journey’s psychology is through the roof. So, ‘A’ on that. Journey’s not a liability, ‘A’ on that. He’s a hard worker, ‘A’ on that. He has passion about the business, ‘A’ on that. He’s a safe worker, ‘A+’ on that and he gets it, psychology wise, you know ‘A++ on that.’” [50:18 - 51:03]
Furthermore, in this conversation, Rikishi also affirmed that the 28-year-old star is heavier than the rest of the other Bloodline members. He noted that Journey's distinct and unique personality gave him an edge, making him an ideal fit for the creative regime of Triple H.
From Rikishi's comments, it’s clear that he has full confidence that Journey Fatu will eventually make his Earth-shaking debut in the Stamford-based promotion soon.
