Why Becky Lynch may enter the women's Royal Rumble match
The first pay-per-view of 2019 is going to be Royal Rumble on 27 January.
Becky Lynch had a great 2018 due to her her wrestling and mic skills. Last year she was the hottest thing in WWE.
On the 8 January 2019 SmackDown episode, Becky Lynch won the triple threat match against Charlotte Flair and Carmella, becoming the number one contender for the SmackDown Live Women's Championship.
Becky will face Asuka for the SmackDown Women's Championship at the Royal Rumble. According to sources, Becky Lynch will lose the match against Asuka so she can enter the women's Royal Rumble match.
There have been many rumours since Survivor Series 2018 where Becky could not compete against Ronda Rousey due to an injury. Becky and Ronda have had a war of words on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live, as well as on Twitter.
At the TLC 2018 pay per view where Becky Lynch defended her championship in a TLC match against Charlotte Flair and Asuka, Ronda Rousey interfered and cost The Man her championship.
Becky Lynch has vowed to have her revenge on Rousey. It has been speculated that Ronda Rousey is going to main event WrestleMania in 2019, and her opponent will be either Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch, since the duo have become more popular than ever.
Therefore Becky Lynch will lose the championship match against Asuka and enter the women's Royal Rumble match, and may win the match and challenge Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 35.
If this happens, it will surely be a historic moment in women's wrestling. Hopefully we get to see Becky Lynch in the main event of WrestleMania 35.
