Why Becky Lynch will become Raw Women's Champion at WrestleMania 35
Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey were slated to face each other at WWE Survivor Series 2018, but the much-anticipated encounter between the two superstars was canceled due to an unexpected injury to Becky.
In order to hype up Survivor Series 2018, the SmackDown Live women's roster invaded Monday Night Raw. During their invasion on Raw, Becky suffered a broken face due to a botched punch by Nia Jax.
At that point, everybody thought Becky Lynch was alright, as she continued beating WWE Raw women's champion, Ronda Rousey, but later WWE revealed she was injured, and didn't clear her to wrestle on Survivor Series 2018.
Becky Lynch is currently the most loved female athlete in the WWE. Even though she is playing the role of bad-ass heel, she still gets cheered by the audience every time she shows up. On the other hand, Ronda Rousey is currently WWE Raw women's champion, and has been on a roll ever since she won the Raw women's title.
It is believed by many wrestling observers all over the world that WWE deliberately canceled their match at Survivor Series 2018 to save the bout for WrestleMania, as both are tremendously popular among the fans.
WWE recently teased Becky vs Ronda somewhere in the future, as Ronda cost Becky her WWE SmackDown title at WWE TLC 2018.
On this week's editions of WWE Raw and SmackDown, the McMahon family promised the WWE fans to give them what they want, and it is no secret that the WWE Universe wants to see an encounter between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.
Having Becky lose her title at TLC serves as a signal that she might win the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble match, and go on to face Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35, and finally take her revenge by dethroning Ronda Rousey from her Raw Women's Championship.
