Why Lars Sullivan and Braun Strowman must join forces with Finn Balor at Royal Rumble 2019
Finn Balor is scheduled to face the WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, at the Royal Rumble PPV. The Universal title match will be a regular singles match, however the WWE can add a stipulation to this match on RAW.
In my opinion, WWE should add a no-disqualification stipulation to this match and hint at a possible heel turn for Finn Balor this week, so as to keep fans hyped up for the match.
They can even have Balor end the segment by saying the Demon King will not show up at Royal Rumble, but Brock Lesnar will definitely face his demons (with a mic-drop), leaving Lesnar and Heyman confused in the ring.
The duo will next meet on 27 January 2019, in front of a 40,000 strong crowd at Chase Field. Picture this - the bell has rung after the referee lifts up the Universal title, and the Beast is totally dominating Finn Balor just like he dominated Daniel Bryan at Survivor Series.
However, Balor is having a weird smile on his face despite taking so much damage, and he stuns Lesnar with a Pele Kick. Suddenly, he climbs to the turnbuckle and poses in the trademark Finn Balor manner. The lights go out, and two huge giants enter the ring in dark attire to slay the Beast.
After 2 minutes, the lights turn on with Brock Lesnar lying completely unconscious inside the ring, and the smiling Finn Balor pins him easily to take the Universal title home in a shocking turn of events.
Later, in a WWE.com exclusive, Finn would mention once again that he had warned Lesnar of his demons, then leave smiling.
Next week on RAW, the two giants would once again appear with the arena going dark and the heartbeats of the Finn Balor Demon King song hitting, then the Demon King enters with his Universal Championship.
Finn continues acting weird inside the ring, and starts shouting demons.. demons... demons, and then the two giants are revealed to be Braun Strowman and Lars Sullivan. All three superstars are smiling in the ring, and Finn Balor is officially a heel.
This should definitely happen, as this would give Lars Sullivan a perfect debut storyline, and also would give direction to Braun Strowman on WWE TV.
The ratings of RAW would go sky high as the heel Finn Balor would reign supreme in the WWE finally. This would even help writing off Brock Lesnar from WWE TV forever, and thus this storyline is best for business.
