Why Randy Orton vs Sheamus should happen at Wrestlemania 29?
WrestleMania 29 is going to be a cracker of an event, and predictions and rumors are already spreading fast. Several people have predicted match cards, with many preferring a Randy Orton vs Sheamus bout for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Randy and Sheamus are both babyfaces, and quite frankly, Randy’s present role has turned stale. Orton is better preferred as the vile Viper and he looked extremely compelling as a heel. Despite that, he did equal justice to being a babyface. Now that we have had enough of his babyface gimmick, several fans are praying that Orton will turn heel sometime and frankly there isn’t a better time than now.
Randy Orton and Sheamus are shown to have a few differences of their own, even though they are working together against The Shield. This difference between the two is the best reason for Orton to turn heel and the Royal Rumble is the best place for this difference to turn hostile.
Sheamus could eliminate Orton out of the ring, and an infuriated Orton could then return and eliminate Sheamus or could assist in his elimination from behind. Either ways, the feud will get started and we can witness the Viper get back to being vile and despicable.
Though Sheamus and Orton have already been in a feud together, this time particularly we can expect it to be a much more interesting one. One main reason for that is both these wrestlers’ chemistry. Orton and Sheamus had a tough time during the initial stages of their previous feud, but finally learnt to glue well together. Their previous singles match was a stunning contest where both these wrestlers found the ease to express themselves well. It is expected that they will carry forward their new found chemistry once they start feuding after Royal Rumble.
Also, many of you might complain that you have seen these two wrestle and would like both these wrestlers to find someone new. The thing that needs to be understood is that the last time they faced each other, both these wrestlers were new to their gimmicks. Randy just turned babyface and Sheamus joined WWE only a few months back. Now, on the other hand, Sheamus has evolved into the second best babyface of WWE, and with Orton turning heel there isn’t anyway that this feud can be stale.
It is important that both these wrestlers are allowed to feud because these two are in the top 5 wrestlers in the roster today, which means that there will be a lot of attention given to this match apart from the main event. Quite often, we have seen only one match being the backbone of a main event, and with this match on the cards, one cannot simply expect this to happen.
It doesn’t matter who ends up winning this bout, but the ultimate outcome of this match will be pure entertainment combined with some amazing in-ring experience for fans.
