Why is WWE RAW not live tonight?
Tonight's episode of WWE Monday Night RAW will not be live and it will be a pre-taped show. The reason why WWE had the show pre-recorded last week was to give the wrestlers some time off before Thanksgiving as RAW will be live next week.
Under WWE CCO, Triple H's leadership, things have changed a lot, and for the convenience of the superstars.
Additionally, the November 22, edition of SmackDown in Salt Lake City will also see two live shows recorded back-to-back. The 29 November, edition of SmackDown will be taped, and will air the night before the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event in Vancouver, Canada.
Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer confirmed on the Wrestling Observer Radio, that the change in the schedule with pre-taped shows was to allow the WWE Superstars to enjoy time with their families.
"The November 22nd SmackDown, they’re gonna be taping two shows, the reason is the 29th is the day after Thanksgiving. I think this is the first time they’ve ever done this, they’re not gonna run a taping that night. So all the talent can spend Thanksgiving night with their families because if they have a Friday taping, and it’s in Salt Lake City, you’ve gotta fly out the day before if it’s not in the vicinity of the north-east or the south-east because most of the talent live in Florida," Dave Meltzer said on WOR. Bronson Reed to face Seth Rollins in a one-on-one match tonight on RAW
[This part contains spoilers]
Bronson Reed is expected to cross paths with Seth Rollins once again. The two had a vicious face-off last week on RAW, and General Manager, Adam Pearce had announced a singles between them match out of frustration.
As the show was pre-taped, videos uploaded on social media gave out some spoilers. It revealed that Solo Sikoa's Bloodline 2.0 members were out at ringside for Bronson Reed during the match. The 330-pound giant showed up on SmackDown last week, attacking Roman Reigns, presumably on the instructions of Solo Sikoa.
Tonight's episode of RAW could see Seth Rollins become the fifth member of Roman Reigns' OG Bloodline. The Visionary had rejected Sami Zayn's offers last week, citing his differences with Roman Reigns. However, Reed's newfound alliance with The Bloodline could force him to reconsider his decision.
