Wisdom of the father or a blindside attack? 5 ways Jimmy Uso can return to WWE SmackDown this week

With a new version of The Bloodline ruling over WWE SmackDown, new wrinkles are added to the story each week. Two of the biggest recent developments addressed the founding members of the original group.

Solo Sikoa signed off on a brutal attack of The Wiseman, Paul Heyman, a few weeks ago. The assault shocked everyone and had to light a fire under those stars loyal to Heyman.

The second was Solo saying on last week's SmackDown that he's the new Tribal Chief and Roman Reigns can come for the throne when he's ready. This week's wrinkle could add Jimmy Uso.

He's reportedly cleared from the injury that has kept him sidelined since WrestleMania 40. Jimmy could jump back into action with The Bloodline on SmackDown in one of the next five ways.

#5. He appears backstage in a segment with his wife Naomi

Jimmy Uso has been married to Naomi since 2014.

One odd facet of the ongoing Bloodline drama has been how the marriage between Naomi and Jimmy Uso hasn't really been addressed on-screen. Naomi could have joined the group as a female member but it never came to pass.

She's been kept away from the drama but could be loosely involved if she arrives at SmackDown with her real-life husband, Jimmy Uso. Jimmy will obviously have a lot on his mind.

Simply appearing in a backstage conversation or segment with his wife would plant seeds for the night and future episodes of SmackDown. It all depends upon how fast he returns and how fast he's thrust back into his family drama.

#4. He owns his loss at WrestleMania and tries to join Solo's group

Will apologizing for a big loss change Solo Sikoa's mind?
Will apologizing for a big loss change Solo Sikoa's mind?

The main reason for Solo kicking Jimmy Uso out of the Bloodline involved his big loss to Jey Uso at WrestleMania 40. Paul Heyman advised Solo that losses matter and winners get certain luxuries like locker rooms and TV time.

Jimmy's loss to Jey led to Sikoa attacking his brother and kicking him out of the group with the help of Tama Tonga. With a few months of reflection, Jimmy may try to admit his faults at The Show of Shows and join the new-look faction.

This could lead to a total beatdown of Jimmy at the hands of the new group and potentially set the stage for the return of Roman Reigns.

#3. He returns with Rikishi by his side

Another prominent Anoa'i name that hasn't been used on-screen during The Bloodline drama is Rikishi. The WWE Legend is the father of The Usos and Solo Sikoa and the father-in-law of Naomi.

He's shown his support online throughout the saga but hasn't been referenced on SmackDown or RAW. The Tribal Elders (Afa and Sika) have been used once or twice, so it's time for Rikishi to make an appearance.

Jimmy could bring his father to try to reason with Solo. What Rikishi does after that would set the tone for the next stage. Rikishi could turn on Jimmy and become Solo's Wiseman or the new group could attack Rikishi.

#2. Jimmy Uso comes through the crowd for an impromptu promo on SmackDown

When he's been absent for a spell, Jimmy has returned to action through the crowd at big moments. He cost Jey his opportunity at the Intercontinental Title one week and also Tribal Combat last year at SummerSlam.

Since he's used to entering through the crowd, he could do the same on this week's SmackDown. He could wear a hoodie, grab a mic, and jump in the ring for a fiery promo.

Running down the new group for its transgressions against the family seems like the best message and it would force the new faction to come out. Jimmy could escape through the crowd or endure another beatdown.

#1. He attacks the new Bloodline during a segment/match

Jimmy Uso will want revenge for the attack that cost him the last few months of his career.

The Bloodline is involved in a huge segment or match each week on SmackDown. Last week's revelation was that Solo has claimed the title of Tribal Chief. He said that Roman could come back and challenge him for it.

Until then, Sikoa is free to do what he wants with the group. Jimmy was the first casualty and should want revenge. If there's a big match involving the group on SmackDown or even a one-on-one match, Jimmy could interfere to cost the group the match.

If The Bloodline has an in-ring segment, he could rush the ring and try to attack Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. It may not end well for him, but Kevin Owens will certainly also be watching if Jimmy needs assistance.
