WWE WrestleMania 32 News: Ladder match for Intercontinental Championship added
Monday night on RAW, WWE fans got the answer for any questions involving the Intercontinental Championship match for WrestleMania 32: a seven-man ladder match.
The match, which was set up over the course of multiple segments of Monday’s show, will involve champion Kevin Owens against challengers The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn, Zack Ryder, Stardust and Sin Cara.
Within the story, Owens set up a No. 1 contender’s match between Ryder, Stardust and Sin Cara as a dig at the fans as well as the other three contenders. Ziggler, Zayn and the Miz showed up, and the situation broke down.
After that, Stephanie McMahon put all seven men in the match and made it a ladder match to teach Owens a lesson about interrupting her.
Ryder, who got loads of fan support during a previous push on the main roster, reacted to the match on Twitter:

Based on prior booking, it is likely that Neville was originally planned for the match before his leg injury.
Last year’s WrestleMania card also included a seven-man ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship, with Daniel Bryan coming out on top. Stardust and Ziggler are the lone repeat performers from that match, which also included Wade Barrett, Dean Ambrose, R-Truth and Luke Harper.
Zayn is now expected to pull double-duty that weekend, since he will also face Shinsuke Nakamura at NXT Takeover: Dallas the day before.
