Smackdown Live has a better tag team division than Monday Night Raw. With established teams like The Usos, New Day, The Bar, Hardy Boyz and newly formed teams like Rusev and Nakamura etc., it is not difficult to see that the division is loaded on the blue brand. Teams like Sanity and Good Brothers who are not on TV programming but are also part of the brand.

Recently on a Smackdown Live episode, champions Usos namedropped some teams and rumors have been circulating that a multi-team match might take place at Wrestlemania 35. If the match does end up happening, WWE should try to book a gimmick match of some kind to make the tag-team stand out on The Grandest Stage Of Them All.

Here are 3 possible gimmick matches for the Smackdown Live tag team championships:

#1 Ladder match

A ladder match is one in which some object is placed above the ring and whoever retrieves the object wins the match. Over the years, Wrestlemania has had some outstanding ladder matches and those matches have been some of the best matches in the history of WWE. The Money In The Bank ladder match actually started at Wrestlemania 21 and continued till Wrestlemania 26, before getting a pay-per-view of its own. The last time a tag team ladder match took place at WrestleMania was for Raw tag team championships involving The Bar, Hardy Boyz, Gallows and Anderson, and Big and Enzo Amore two years ago.

Wrestlemania 35 is already promising to be an exciting affair. Add a ladder match with Jeff and Matt Hardy, who have made a career out of this type of match, The Usos, The Bar and, Rusev and Nakamura, a potential show stealer is on the hands. The Raw tag team match is also rumored to be a multi-team match, so a gimmick match would variety to the card.
