Wrestlemania 35: 3 possible reasons why Becky Lynch could lose the main event triple threat match
Wrestlemania 35 is going to be a historic one, as for the first time in the company, women are going to be headlining the Greatest Show Of Them All.
RAW Women's champion Ronda Rousey and Smackdown Live Women's champion Charlotte Flair are going to put their respective titles on the line in a "winner takes all" match also involving Becky Lynch.
The feud, which started back in Survivor Series 2018, has been one of the most enthralling ones in recent times. All three ladies have had the upper hand over their opponents at some point in the feud. From legitimate injury to kayfabe injury to arrests, the feud has involved everything.
Coming to the match itself in five days, many expect Becky Lynch to walk away as the first ever holder of both the women's championships. Ronda Rousey is rumored to be taking some time off after Wrestlemania, while Charlotte mostly has been the third wheel.
That being said, here are 3 possible reasons why Becky could lose the main event match:
#1 Because Charlotte is a 'Flair'
Charlotte Flair is the daughter of Ric Flair and a second generation superstar. Ric was himself a 16-time champion and Charlotte is following those same footsteps. "The Queen" is an 8-time women's champion who has taken part in various gimmick matches like Ironwoman match, Hell In A Cell, and TLC match.
Charlotte has always been Vince Mcmohan's fail-safe option. The fact that the Smackdown Live women's championship was put on Charlotte, even though she was already in a title match proves the point. Also, Asuka did not really have a credible opponent.
With the women main eventing Wrestlemania for the first time, it would be not beyond WWE to go with the tried and tested formula, i.e, putting the title on Charlotte. Just, in this case, it would be both the titles.
