WrestleMania 35: 5 Shocking changes that can be made to the match-card next week

What changes/shocks will we see in the WrestleMania card?

WrestleMania 35 is just 10 days away from us. Can you believe it? This year, WrestleMania has the potential to be the longest WrestleMania, with as many as 17 (or 16) matches booked for the Show of Shows.

In the last couple of weeks, the match card for WrestleMania has been changing continuously. Usually, WWE avoids making last-minute changes to matches on such a huge stage, but such has been this year that nothing can be said for sure.

This past week on RAW, Triple H agreed to put his career on the line in his No Holds Barred Match against the Animal, Batista. This just added another layer of surprise/anticipation to this match, as fans are now wondering what if Batista beats The Game?

Another shocking moment came when Asuka lost her SmackDown Women's Championship to The Queen, Charlotte in an impromptu match just a few days before WrestleMania. Though these last minute changes are tough to advertise, the shocks they provide are enough for fans to tune in to see what's going to happen next.

As a wrestling fan, I highly doubt the current WrestleMania card is the final one and I suspect WWE would throw in a couple of more curveballs on our way as the go-home shows of WrestleMania 35 unwrap.

In this article, let's take a look at the 5 shocking changes that WWE can make to the match card of WrestleMania next week and surprise the fans.

#5 John Cena shows up and replaces Baron Corbin in Kurt Angle's Retirement Match

This needs to be Kurt's last match!
This needs to be Kurt's last match!

An interesting storyline currently going on in WWE is the retirement tour of the Olympic Gold Medalist and Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle. Angle announced a few weeks ago on RAW that he'll be retiring from in-ring competition with the culmination of this tour at WrestleMania 35.

Amongst the speculation of his final opponent, Angle revealed that it would be Baron Corbin whom he'll face on his last match. This, obviously, didn't go well with the fans as many believe Angle deserves better.

With him wrestling the likes of Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, etc in his retirement tour, it's tough to believe someone like Corbin being the one to culminate this with.

WWE could fix this if John Cena shows up next week to beat-down Corbin and replace him in the WrestleMania match. Not only will this be a proper farewell for the legendary wrestler, but would also increase the mainstream attention towards the grandest stage of them all.
