Will the cocky Daniel Bryan leave Wrestlemania 35 with his precious WWE Championship?
Will the cocky Daniel Bryan leave Wrestlemania 35 with his precious WWE Championship?

If there's one thing you know for sure about the world of pro wrestling, it's that nothing's for sure!

Follow Sportskeeda for the latest WWE news, rumors and all other wrestling news.

For example, last year at Wrestlemania 34, many people just KNEW that Roman Reigns would walk out of the main event as WWE Universal champion, based upon things like Brock Lesnar's contract status. As history tells us, however, Lesnar won that bout and retained his Universal title in dominant fashion.

However, even though nothing can be known for certain, one can speculate about the odds of certain wrestlers gaining victory or defeat by objectively measuring certain criteria. With nearly every title in the WWE set to be defended at Wrestlemania 35, it is possible to make predictions on the status of those championships after the dust has settled.

Here are each and every champion defending their belt/s at the biggest sports entertainment event of the year, and their odds of retaining.

#1 Buddy Murhpy (Cruiserweight Champion, 205 Live)

Buddy Murphy
Buddy Murphy

Real Name: Matthew Adams

Years as a professional: 12 (Veteran.)

Wrestling Style: High flying and technical wrestling.

Buddy Murphy distinguished himself on WWE's NXT brand by teaming with Wesley Blake. The duo managed to capture the NXT Tag team titles, and were managed for a time by Alexa Bliss, with whom Murphy has a real life romantic relationship.

Murphy joined the 205 Live brand and quickly established his dominance, winning the Cruiserweight championship and putting on five star matches with men like Mustafa Ali and Cedric Alexander. Can the man once known as NXT's best kept secret retain his title at the biggest extravaganza of the year?

Odds of keeping the title: 50-50. As of this writing, Murphy will be facing one of two men, Tony Nese or Cedric Alexander, depending on who wins the 205 Live tournament finals.

Murphy has defeated Cedric decisively, and is a red hot property, but Tony Nese's star has been on the rise. Whatever the case may be, it will probably be one of the most technically sound matches on the WrestleMania 35 card.
