WrestleMania 35: Predicting the outcome of each championship match

Who will walk out of Metlife Stadium as the champion?
Who will walk out of Metlife Stadium as the champion?

Less than ten days remain to the biggest wrestling event of the year, and we are overexcited thanks to the most interesting and well-built WrestleMania card we have seen since the past few years.

One of the many things that we are excited to watch is the first ever women’s main event for this year’s event, along with Kofi Kingston’s first-ever one-on-one opportunity to win a top title in the company.

A total of thirteen matches have been announced so far, with the Women’s Battle Royal and the two Men’s Tag Team matches remaining unannounced so far.

Out of the thirteen announced matches, seven will be fought for the gold in WWE’s treasure chest.

With that in mind, we will look at the championship matches announced so far, and predict the winner of each match for the April 7 event.

#1 WWE Cruiserweight Championship - Buddy Murphy (c) vs. Tony Nese

A high-flying thriller is on the way
A high-flying thriller is on the way

With a loaded match card, it is highly possible that we will witness the clash between Buddy Murphy and Tony Nese on the pre-show of the event. Even with that possibility, we have no reason to doubt that this will be among the top five matches of the night.

The elites at 205 Live have given us some of the best matches at pay-per-views, and Buddy Murphy is indeed the superstar who won’t disappoint us.

Tony Nese will also want to showcase his talent at the Show of Shows, and we will see a long and high-flying affair which will probably see Murphy retain the championship.

Since Murphy is doing a great job leading the 205 Live roster, WWE would want to continue his reign as champion until another wrestler can match his level.

Prediction: Buddy Murphy will retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship
