Paige was on commentary for the first ever Women's Tag Team Championship title defense as The Boss "n" Hug Connection defended their Tag Team Championships against three other teams.
Ahead of the match, Bret Hart came down and fist bumped Beth Phoenix and Natalya to wish them luck ahead of the match. Tamina and Nia Jax used power to their advantage in the opening exchanges before Natalya and Beth teamed up on Jax and sent her into the steel steps.
Inside the ring, Peyton Royce and Sasha Banks were legal and The IIconics then tried to single Sasha out but The Boss fought back with a quick roll up before an interesting double team led to Royce's first near fall of the match.
Beth Phoenix was tagged in and after a couple of near fall attempts, Royce was given the tag and Beth powered through a double suplex, Nattie and Beth then teamed together to deliver The Hart Attack before The Boss became the legal competitor.
Banks locked in the Bank Statement on Beth Phoenix but she rolled out of it and instead went for The Glam Slam but this was countered into a roll up. Nattie then locked in a double Sharpshooter on both Sasha Banks and Bayley but Tamina climbed into the ring and broke it up.
Jax and Tamina took control of the match and double headbutted Phoenix before throwing her to the outside, before delivering the Samoan Drop on The IIconics. The Samoan Slaughterhouse then climbed up to the top rope but they were cut down by The Divas of Doom.
The fight boiled over to the outside before Bayley took Beth back into the ring and delivered the elbow followed by the Frog Splash but could only secure a near fall. Beth Phoenix had Bayley on the top rope and delivered a fantastic Glam Slam but was unable to get the cover since The IIconics threw her to the outside and stole the win.
