The odds have been stacked against Tony Nese at WWE Stomping Grounds

Last week, Drake Maverick hoped to find a new No. 1 contender for Tony Nese. However, in a Fatal-4-Way match, Akira Tozawa and Drew Gulak rolled each other up. With both men's shoulders pinned to the ground, they were both declared the winner.

At WWE Stomping Grounds, Gulak and Tozawa will challenge Tony Nese for the Cruiserweight Championship in a Triple Threat match.

Tonight, though, we would see two matches with pride at stake. Ariya Daivari cost Oney Lorcan an opportunity at the championship last week, taking him out with a chair during the Fatal-4-Way match. Tonight, Daivari and Lorcan settle their bitter rivalry once and for all in a hard-hitting, action-packed main event.

We kicked off the night, though, with tag team competition. After months of trash talk following their first loss to the Lucha House Party, the Singh Brothers finally get a rematch against the trio.

The Singhs have picked up several wins against...some less than stellar competition, but seem to be on a roll. Tonight they put their streak on the line in a grudge match against LHP.

Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik) vs The Singh Brothers

Lince Dorado kicked off the night with Samir Singh. Samir was dropped by a shoulder block, but avoided a springboard moonsault and slapped Dorado across the face. In LHP's corner, Metalik was tagged in, rocking Samir with a clothesline.

LHP missed a tag team maneuver, but recovered by sending both the Singhs outside. Sunil tagged in, where he was immediately dropped by the luchadors for a leg drop/body splash combo. Sunil broke out.

Up top, a crossbody from the Golden Linx took Sunil down again. A distraction from Samir allowed Sunil to get back in the match, dropping Dorado head first on the turnbuckle. The Singhs kept Dorado in their corner, stomping him out in the bottom turnbuckle.

Samir held Dorado down to the ground with a rear chin lock. Dorado fought up to his feet, and though he was slammed back down, pulled at Samir's hair to break the hold. Dorado knocked Sunil off the apron, but before he could tag Metalik, Sunil pulled him away.

The Singhs rocked Dorado with a superkick/Russian leg sweep combo. Metalik broke up the pinfall.Samir continued to pelt Dorado with strikes, but was stunned with a Golden Rewind. Metalik tagged in and flew around a fresh Sunil Singh. A middle rope dropkick rocked Sunil, and a launching dropkick to the apron sent him down to the ground.

A beautiful cross body off the top rope dazed Sunil. A Shooting Star Press from Dorado nearly gave LHP the win, but Samir broke up the pinfall. Samir and Metalik took each other to the outside. With Dorado distracted following the destruction of a pinata, Sunil rolled up Dorado for the victory.

Results: The Singh Brothers defeated Lucha House Party via pinfall.

Noam Dar said that he's been enjoying his time off away from 205 Live, claiming that he's been rehabbing out of the country. Though he'll be ready to get back in the ring soon, he still demands that Drake Maverick up the security around the show. Brian Kendrick came in frame, though, ruining Dar's promo, proving that he's actually backstage like the rest of the roster.
