WWE 2K15 to feature New Game Modes
WWE 2K15 developers 2K Sports has promised fans of introducing new game modes in it’s latest edition.
In it’s two previous editions 2K Sports had the very succesfull Universe mode. It also had the experience of the Attitude Era and WrestleMania modes. Now WWE fans will be having very high expectations after 2K Sports hinted at many more new modes to come.
According to Chris Snyder, senior marketing director at 2K Sports, 2K15 is more than a fighting game involving WWE superstars. "We've improved the core gameplay experience," said Snyder. "This is not a fighting game with WWE characters. We tweak gameplay every year for NBA 2K and we're doing the same thing for WWE. We have a lot of new game modes coming out, too."
According to rumours, WWE 2K15 may feature a new form of career mode. In it the player can create his/her own wrestler. They can then start off the chatracter's career in NXT. On impressing at this level and after gaining enough experience, the wrestler can join the main roster of WWE.
WWE has taken a few tips from NBA. In its newest version of the WWE game, 2K Sports have used the same technology as in its hit NBA 2K game. WWE 2K15 will use advanced head-scanning technology that provides graphics that make the wrestler look quite close to the real life person.
At the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 Expo) from June 10-12 this year at Los Angeles, WWE provided a sneak peek of its new 2K15 edition. Other than facial screening technology, 2K15 will also use improved lighting techniques. Snyder says that improved lighting will help depict a more live atmosphere at the ring. At the LA Expo 2K Sports also revealed the first look of WWE stars like John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Roman Reigns, Antonio Cesaro and Bray Wyatt.
The game will be launched on the 28th of October in North America and on the 31st of the same month in Europe for PS3, Xbox360, PS4 and Xbox One.
