WWE News: WWE 2K17 confirms three wrestlers for the game
Last month, WWE was hyping a big return on it’s social media accounts. Eventually, it was revealed that the hype was for the upcoming WWE 2K17 game, which will be released this year, around October.
To the shock of several wrestling fans, WWE announced that former World Heavyweight Champion Goldberg, will be a playable character in the game, but only if it is pre-ordered.
WWE 2K14 was Goldberg’s last appearance in video games. Goldberg has been a playable character in more than 10 video games issued by WWE or WCW in the past. And in the upcoming weeks, 2K17 will be announcing more wrestlers, who will be in the roster of the game.
Today at E3, the first three wrestlers were revealed. As reported by cagesideseats.com, Sasha Banks, WWE Hall of Famer Ultimate Warrior and 15 time World Champion John Cena are now confirmed for the game. Below is the tweet from the official Twitter handle of the game :

WWE 2K17 will mark the first ever video game appearance of the former NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks, while this will be John Cena’s 17th one. His first appearance in video games dates back to 2003, as he became a part of the WWE WrestleMania XIX game.
