5 Superstars that can end the career of The Undertaker

The Undertaker is one of the most notable names who has been a part of WWE for the better part of four decades. His match with AJ Styles most recently did create a lot of buzz, but what is not sure at the moment is what comes next for The Phenom. It is obvious that he cannot wrestle throughout the year, but even if he comes back for Saudi Arabian pay-per-views and the Big Four events, his presence is felt by the entire WWE Universe.

Taker is still being saved for the big shows by WWE, and it would be safe to say that his iconic career is all set to be wrapped up. But a question which is relevant at this time is: Who should Undertaker face in his farewell match?

In the past, WWE has proved that farewell matches can be epic with the right booking, so the farewell match of The Undertaker would come in with huge expectations. Here is a look at some of the superstars who could end Taker’s career in that farewell match:

#5 Shawn Michaels

Shawn Michaels coming out of retirement to be part of Undertaker’s farewell match would be an excellent move due to various reasons. First of all, Michaels coming out of retirement will create a lot of excitement among the WWE Universe. Secondly, we all know the history that Michaels and Undertaker have. In fact, it was Undertaker that ended the career of Michaels, making it fair for Michaels to return the favor.

The biggest challenge for WWE in booking this would be convincing Michaels to come out of retirement. Undertaker is unlikely to have problems with such a match, given the spectacle that he put on in both of his previous matches with Shawn Michaels. A Rubber Match with the WWE Hall of Famer to end the career of The Undertaker would actually be quite fitting.

#4 Brock Lesnar

If we take a look back at the career of Undertaker, the presence of Brock Lesnar is unavoidable. Lesnar and Taker first crossed paths when Lesnar was an upcoming star and years later, when they met again, Lesnar ended the legendary WrestleMania streak.

Lesnar and Undertaker crossed paths twice after that and traded wins. Considering Lesnar made such a big impact on the Undertaker's career, it would make sense for him to be Dead Man's last opponent.

Undertaker could either win or lose the match depending on what WWE wants to do. If it’s a loss, Lesnar’s stock would go even higher and if it’s a win, it would act as the perfect revenge for the Phenom.
