WWE News: RAW and SmackDown Live get brand new announce teams after the Draft
WWE fans witnessed the start of a 'New Era' with the brand extension tonight on the first live episode of SmackDown where Stephanie and Shane, the commissioners of both leading brands chose the rosters for Raw and SmackDown respectively.
With this major structural change, WWE is looking to start afresh and it's almost sure that we are going to witness some exciting changes in both in-ring competitions and arena setups as well.
But that's not all, as WWE announced on their official website, that both Raw and SmackDown as well as the secondary shows, Main Event and Superstars are going to get new voices.
As announced, the action on Monday Night Raw will now be called by the team of Corey Graves, Michael Cole, and Byron Saxton. On the other hand, the new SmackDown commentary team includes the former WWE champion JBL, Mauro Ranallo and David Otunga.
Also, the commentary of both Superstars and Main Event will be done by Tom Phillips who will be joined by Cory Graves and David Otunga on the shows respectively. This most probably means that NXT will also be getting a new face for their commentary team as their lead commentator in Corey Graves will now be serving the flagship show of the company.
