Another huge surprise return at Wrestlemania 32?

Batista was last seen in the WWE in a WHC angle in 2014

– Batista has been immensely successful in the WWE since his debut back in 2002 as an enforcer for Reverend D-Von. Batista has held the WWE World Heavyweight Championship six times and has also been a tag team champion and a two-time Royal Rumble winner. Batista made a brief return to the WWE in 2014 which was well received at first, but the fans did not accept his babyface character. He was also pushed to win the Royal Rumble and Main Evented Wrestlemania 30 which angered a lot of fans.

It is rumoured that Batista was asked to return to the WWE for Wrestlemania 32 by Vince McMahon himself. According to some sources, Batista travelled to Orlando for Royal Rumble and had a meeting with Vince McMahon. McMahon wanted a single appearance which was declined by Batista but the idea is still open for creative thinking.

Batista who has made the difficult transition from Wrestling to Main Stream movies has been starring in A-list Hollywood movies such as James Bond and the Guardians of the Galaxy. Batista stated recently that he would return to the WWE but would want control over his character and its booking but it does not look likely that Batista would return to the WWE for more than one match in the future.
