Owens and Zayn took on the monstrous team of Lashley and Strowman

One of the biggest teams that WWE has ever created stepped into their second tag team match in a week against the newest Raw recruits Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Bobby Lashley's return to the WWE has been seen as lackluster so far, with many members of the WWE Universe wondering why someone as dominant as Strowman needed The Dominator by his side.

Strowman was the first man out for the penultimate match of the night and he looked ready to take care of business alongside the former ECW Champion.

Zayn and Owens were well aware that they were at a complete disadvantage in this match, but the in-ring experience of the Canadians was something that paid dividends as Zayn kicked off the match against Lashley and took the big man off his game with the mind games.

Owens tagged into the match and Lashley was then able to dominate the former Universal Champion with a swinging neckbreaker before Zayn then stepped back into the ring. Zayn's only advantage was his quickness, something that he utilized many times as he rolled out of the ring or out of Lashley's way, but the former TNA star followed him to the outside and bounced him off the announce table.

The momentum swung back into Zayn's favor when he knocked Lashley off the apron and Owens then delivered a Senton on the outside. And STO to Zayn led to the double down between the two men, but Owens got the tag first and went for Strowman, but he thought better of it and The Monster Among Men was then officially introduced to the matchup.

Strowman went through Owens in the ring before he chased Zayn to the outside and threw him into the barricade. Inside the ring, Strowman went for a spear but Owens moved and he went shoulder first into the ring post.

There was dissension in the ranks as Zayn tried to leave and Owens seemingly convinced him to stay and fight, but Zayn then threw Owens into the ring and straight into Strowman.

Owens then threw Zayn into the ring and he slapped the face of his best friend before he rolled out of the ring and left Owens to then take a spine buster and a delayed vertical suplex from Lashley to pick up the win.

After the match, Owens then took a running powerslam from Strowman as Zayn watched on from ringside, seemingly worried about the health of his longtime friend. Zayn was then dragged into the ring and forced to take a running powerslam as well.

The dominant team may have picked up the win here, but the real story is the fact that there are cracks in the friendship of Owens and Zayn once again.
