Backstage news on Cesaro's push and injury reactions, Vince's change of mind, Dudleys vs Wyatts

An injury that proved too costly

- Call it bad timing or unfortunate luck, but Cesaro’s injury might have just put a stop to a much-deserved push he was supposedly on course for.

According to backstage reports, the absence of Randy Orton, John Cena, Seth Rollins led to the WWE finally considering giving Cesaro a substantial push. Officials backstage believed that the time is ripe for Cesaro to be thrust into the spotlight, but his injury derailed the plans.

It is being said that Cesaro was to be pushed into the World title scene, but his 4-6 month layoff has proved to be a huge roadblock. A majority of the people backstage were left disappointed after Cesaro suffered a torn rotator cuff, as they were looking forward to him being rewarded for his efforts.

In a major change of perception, Vince McMahon too was quite impressed with the way Cesaro has been performing as of late, especially his recent outings with Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens.

It should also be noted that the boss was always high on Cesaro’s in-ring credentials, but was apprehensive about other aspects such as his promo work.

Cesaro garnering Vince’s satisfaction pointed to things finally looking up for Cesaro, but his injury proved to be a setback. Expect him to get the impending push once he does make a return after ample rehabilitation.

- The Wyatts have found their next target in the Dudley Boys and WWE too is taking the feud forward, after the beating the veterans got at the hands of the Buzzards.

The main reason behind WWE going forward is to polish Braun Strowman’s skills by working with the tag team veterans. WWE put out this teaser of the feud for the upcoming episode of RAW:

We don’t want to imagine what Thanksgiving is like in the Wyatt compound, but The Eater of Worlds and his cruel kin gorged themselves on destruction this past Thursday on SmackDown, where they destroyed D-Von Dudley and sent his brother Bubba Ray through a table — using The Dudley Boyz’ own pine-splintering pastime against them.

Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman have twice obliterated Dudleyville’s favorite sons since Survivor Series, but something tells us the macabre quartet is just getting started. What sinister plans do The Wyatt Family have for Raw?
