WWE: Big names to return at the same time, plans for Roman Reigns
It has been speculated for a while now that the WWE wants Roman Reigns as the no.1 babyface heading into Wrestlemania next year by winning the Royal Rumble and challenging Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight title.
Reigns’ momentum suffered a setback due to the hernia operation just before the Night of Champions pay-per-view because of which he will be out of action for a few months.
But even in the worst case scenario, he is expected to be back by Royal Rumble and WWE aren’t worried about changing their initial plans for the black-clad-superstar.
As of now, his former Shield team-mate Dean Ambrose will be pushed by the WWE.
Along with Reigns, Daniel Bryan is also set to return around at the same time. Plus, Batista may also return before Wrestlemania 31 which can be his final run in the company before he retires.
