WWE News: Big Show all but confirms match with Shaquille O' Neal at WrestleMania 33

Shaquille O’ Neal and The Big Show started their feud at Wrestlemania 32.

At Wrestlemania 32, NBA legend Shaquille O’ Neal made a suprise appearance at the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal Match (which was won by Baron Corbin). He then faced off with Big Show in the ring before both were eliminated by a majority of the other participants at the same time. After they were both eliminated, they shook hands but that seemingly wasn’t the end of the two giants squaring off against each other.

Since Wrestlemania 32, both Shaquille O’ Neal and The Big Show have gone on interviews and have stated their desire to face each other at Wrestlemania 33 at Orlando next year. Even in the ESPY Awards last month which was hosted by John Cena, they started the angle where Big Show challenged Shaq to a match at next year’s Wrestlemania.

In an interview with Shanghai Daily, the world’s largest athlete seemed to have confirmed that it’s happening.

“We’ll have one heck of a match and we’ll see what’s up. We’ll give the fans a treat.” Big Show said.

It also appears that Big Show is winding down his career and will be retiring in a matter of time, perhaps even after Wrestlemania 33. Big Show stated that he is looking forward to retirement and spending more time with his family.
Will you miss The World’s Largest Athlete when he has retired?
