Chris Jericho gives the reasons why the Divas Revolution is not working

Jericho thinks the WWE has chose the wrong method of pushing Divas

Y2J Chris Jericho was very critical about the Divas Revolution and on his show talk is Jericho he listed the main reasons why it hasn’t been as the WWE thought it would be. Below are the highlights:

Jericho states that the main reason why the Divas Division fell flat on its face up until now was because of “the tale of two cities for the Divas Revolution." He explained that by giving an example and said that one of the best matches from NXT Takeover: Brooklyn was the Sasha Banks vs Bayley match for the NXT Women’s Title, and two nights later the divas were the worst to come out of RAW.

He noted that both Bayley and Sasha are distinctive at NXTand straightforward. But at the main roster there are too many factions and characters.

"You can't push nine people at once. You can't. They introduced too many people in too short a timeframe and put them all together and mixed them all together, so now it's just one big wash," Jericho said.

He continued, “"I think all the divas are talented. I think the four from NXT [Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte, and Sasha Banks], even though Bayley is not here yet, are off the charts talented, but I think it's not working right now in the WWE because it's too much at once". His hit it right on the spot by saying that too much has been done and way too fast.

Jericho had nothing but praise for the NXT Divas and compared the Four Horsewomen of NXT Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte, and Sasha Banks, to Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, and Chris Benoit back in the 1990s. He said that they know each other extremely well and it helps the chemistry between them during their matches.

"You can't put us with other guys that aren't of that level and expect the same type of matches. And those girls in the WWE are working hard, the Bellas and Alicia Fox and Paige, but those four from NXT, they just know each other better. They're cut from a different cloth. They work together better, so they are going to be having better matches." said Y2J.

He finished off by saying that the WWE needs to give them time and get to know their characters as they have the talent of tearing the house down. He says the WWE must focus at one at a time and not push all of the nine at one time.
