Chyna hospitalized, former WWE star steps in to help
Former WWE star Chyna was sent straight to the hospital after she developed some health issues – the exact details of which are not known at the moment.
The troubled star was scheduled to appear for Maryland Championship Wrestling (MCW) but had to be pulled off the show at the very last moment as she was hospitalized. Her fellow D-Generation X member Billy Gunn saved the day after he cancelled his earlier plans of spending time with family to make an appearance for the promotion.
According to Inquisitr, Chyna, who still is quite a draw because of her WWE run, is signed to MCW and was reportedly sent to the hospital due to appendicitis problems – which has not been confirmed by Chyna or Maryland Championship Wrestling authorities.
MCW learned about the situation after they noticed Chyna’s cancelled airplane ticket that they had booked for the former WWE Intercontinental Champion.
Good Guy Entertainment revealed that Chyna was almost on board her flight but the unforeseen pain changed her mind and she admitted herself to a hospital. Her replacement Billy Gunn, who also was unceremoniously fired from the WWE due to a failed drug test, signed a last minute deal and flew in a hurry to make the show in time.
He wasn’t the only one who salvaged the show as former WWE Diva Mickie James and former TNA Champion Magnus were also included by the promotion for the show.
