WWE Draft: 5 Superstars who could be allowed to become "Free Agents"
WWE Premiere Week is in the history books now, and so is the Hell in a Cell PPV, which brings us to the next big chapter in this persistent story of the company - the WWE Draft. Scheduled to take place this week on Friday Night SmackDown (October 11), followed by Monday Night RAW (October 14), the WWE Draft would see Superstars being assigned to the two main roster brands of the company.
With just a couple of days left before the event takes place, the Internet is buzzing with the discussions of which Superstar would be assigned to which brand. Amongst these debates, one question that hasn't struck the minds of many is whether some Superstars will be allowed to appear on both brands.
Yes, even though the Wild Card rule is all set to come to an end, WWE might still consider giving some of its Superstars the special privilege to become "Free Agents" - the permission to appear on both the brands.
Let's take a look at five such potential Free Agents in this article. I invite you all to share your thoughts on the same in the comments section below.
#5 R-Truth
The entire concept of the 24/7 Championship is tough to fit in a "separate brand, separate rosters" scenari,o as the only option left becomes to assign it to one of the two brands. But doing that would be unfair to the lower mid-card talent on the other brand as well as drastically reduce the urgency around the title.
One of the Superstars to have a major hand in the success of this title is R-Truth, who already holds the record of most number of reigns with the title at a massive twenty.
Truth has been continuously producing hilarious segments with his baby "24/7 European Championship" and it would be a big blow if the brand draft restricts him from continuing the same. As mentioned earlier, assigning it to one of the brands won't be a good strategy, hence making Truth a "free agent" could be a way to let the title appear on both brands.
One thing is for sure - Truth is set to have many more reigns with the title!
