WWE Extreme Rules: Predicting the match order

What will WWE have to offer on the night that it goes Extreme?
What will WWE have to offer on the night that it goes Extreme?

WWE Extreme Rules will go live this Sunday from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They have a stacked card for the show with ten matches announced so far. With some serious competition from AEW, WWE is forced to bring back their classic Attitude Era-style segments, and we must wait to see if that will reflect on Sunday’s PPV and if the show will live up to its name by turning extreme.

WWE is promoting two big matches for the show with the Undertaker & Roman Reigns teaming up for the first time to take on Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre in a No Holds Barred tag team match. The second is the winner takes all mixed tag team match between Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch vs. Baron Corbin & Lacey Evans for the Universal & Raw Women's Championships.

We also have the other mid-card & women’s division matches, which has the potential to blow the roof off the arena. With all contests built up with a proper storyline, WWE would’ve had a hard time figuring out the match card for the event. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the potential line-up for WWE Extreme Rules.

#1 Drew Gulak (C) vs. Tony Nese - Cruiserweight Championship (Pre Show)

Drew Gulak defeated Tony Nese and Akira Tozawa in a triple threat match at Stomping Grounds to win the Cruiserweight Championship. Nese defeated Tozawa on the following episode of 205 Live to earn a rematch for the title at Extreme Rules.

The match could take place at the Extreme Rules pre-show as WWE has been booking the cruiserweight matches on less significant spots on PPV's in the past, and we can expect the same to happen this Sunday.
