WWE FastLane 2019: 5 Shockers that would make it interesting
WWE FastLane will hold this Sunday on March 10, 2019, at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. As of now, a total of 7 matches are booked for the main show, and 2 on the pre-show for the Pay Per View.
With this being the last major stop on The Road to WrestleMania, WWE would be planning to make FastLane as controversial as possible to make fans tune in to RAW next night and create hype for the WrestleMania season.
With a total of 5 titles being defended on the PPV, a shocking title change could help serve this purpose. Or else WWE can have a returning superstar interrupt a match to set-up a clash at the Showcase of Immortals.
While there have been a lot of speculations and match predictions for FastLane 2019, WWE can still come up with a lot of "shockers" and surprise moments which will make the fans jump out of their seat in excitement.
In this article, let's take a look at the 5 Shockers that could happen at FastLane. These would surely make the Road to WrestleMania way interesting than what it is currently, and would help the rating issues as well.
#5 Samoa Joe calls out John Cena for a match at WrestleMania
Ever since Samoa Joe won the United States Championship on SmackDown, the rumors are floating that he would be working a feud with John Cena for the US Championship at WrestleMania 35.
Currently, Joe is not advertised for FastLane this Sunday, but WWE could pull a swerve by starting the build-up to this feud now itself. If Joe's interview backstage after winning the title on SmackDown is considered, WWE surely looks to be heading towards a clash between these two superstars.
Joe can come out and issue an open challenge for the Title, and squash his opponent. A post-match promo where Joe calls out Cena challenging him for a match at WrestleMania would just sky-rocket the US Title scene.
