WWE Fastlane 2019: 5 Things WWE Must Avoid Doing At The PPV

Fastlane.

While most might look at this pay per view as a throwaway and not worthy of one's attention, WWE has truly done everything in its power to try to change that!

In fact, between Becky Lynch versus Charlotte with WrestleMania on the line, Daniel Bryan versus Kevin Owens for The WWE Title and a Shield reunion, it's safe to say the company is doing everything they can to make things interesting.

Beyond that, they seem to be doing everything possible to blur the lines between fiction and reality in hopes of making the pay per view more unpredictable. Of course, WWE has had some missteps in doing this over the last couple of weeks, especially with how they rushed The Shield reunion, other things seem to have been done to perfection.

#5 Handing McIntyre, Lashley and Corbin a loss

Its time for The Shield to lose and break up for good!

Let's be honest here.

The WWE has reunited The Shield way too many times over the last couple of years and while it has sometimes been an effective tool to get the company out of a bind, it has lost its luster in the process.

Beyond that, its held far too many other Superstars back in the process, which is also contributing to the underwhelming reaction the reunion has gotten so far.

With that being said and Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin needing a big win before WrestleMania 35, what better way to do that than to give them a win over one of the best factions of the last decade?

Sure, the idea of The Shield losing isn't that appealing at first, but when you consider the long term benefits, it becomes much easier to swallow

Think about it! If Dean Ambrose really is leaving when his contract is up, what does it hurt for him to be the one to take the pin at the end of the match?

At least that way, WWE can hand McIntyre and company a big win, give fans a huge swerve and protect Rollins and Reigns heading into WrestleMania 35.
