The last pay-per-view before Wrestlemania is WWE Fastlane. And while there are some fans out there in the WWE Universe that like the fact that we are getting one more show before the biggest event in wrestling, as it provides an end to WWE's build of many of their narratives and it allows the creative team to create new programmes for WrestleMania at the same time.
Follow Sportskeeda for the latest WWE news, rumors and all other wrestling news.
The truth is that there is no real reason for this pay-per-view to exist.
As most of the plot points WWE wants to resolve within this show, can be sorted out on Raw and Smackdown Live.
Nevertheless, with a few days left for the show, things seem to be heating up, as is WWE teasing many twists for the show, which means we could be in line for many shocking moments.
So today let us go through all possible shocking decisions WWE could make at Fastlane 2019.
#1 Who's Going To Be The Heel?
The narrative between Shane McMahon and The Miz is more random than Hornswoggles' Royal Rumble appearances, as this entire fiasco started after Shane took an injured Miz's place in the final of the WWE World Cup. And ever since Miz has grown fond of the commissioner of SmackDown Live.
While Shane O'Mac was hesitant at first to befriend The Miz, he soon grew fond of the A-lister, and from there on out these two men became the best friends discussing their issues, and aspirations in life.
And the biggest question fans were asking was what was the need for WWE to book this feud as some sort of soap opera?
As the content of this angle has not been up to standard, which brought the quality of the entire narrative down, but it seems we could be saved from WWE taking things any further with Shane and Miz's budding friendship.
As rumours have been circulating that Shane will turn on The Miz at Fastlane, which will set up a WrestleMania match between the two.
Now the reasons for Shane turning on Miz don't really feel justified at this point, but if you flip the script and have The A-Lister turn on the commissioner of the Blue Brand, things start to make more sense.
Whichever route WWE takes with this feud, let us be glad it's done, and we will finally see something surprising or interesting happen here.
