WWE get a second chance with Roman Reigns and they should use it wisely
Roman Reigns is in remission everyone, he's back. The Big Dog is back, and with that, WWE get a second chance. A second chance which if they use wisely would allow them to do exactly what they wanted to do. Roman Reigns is 'The Man' for WWE. There has never been any doubt about it (although it still remains to be seen whether he still keeps that position on his return).
He's got charisma, he's one hell of a performer and there's something that WWE see in him that they don't in rest of the roster. But still, WWE had really made a mess of it when they went on with making him 'The Guy' the previous time. There was never a problem with the way Roman worked, the problem was with the way he was booked. It became too obvious that anyone and everyone who would be put in front of him will be slain (just ask the Beast Incarnate).
It was almost 2 years ago when Roman had walked out to the ring in front of the huge crowd and got booed for beating the Undertaker at WrestleMania. 2 years on, when he walked out during his return on Monday Night Raw, the crowd showered such unconditional love on him that it seems that everything has been forgotten. And in a way, it's true that everything has been forgotten.
This gives WWE the opportunity to start with a clean slate and build Roman's character up from scratch. Don't make the same booking mistakes that they did earlier with Roman and give the audience a chance to accept him. Roman is a legitimate superstar, and if he's built properly the fans would adore him just like they adore his fellow Shield stablemates.
WWE get a golden opportunity to recreate their star, it would be really interesting to see if they realize that and not make those same mistakes again.
