Video: The Great Khali gravely injured in wrestling match, admitted to ICU
In a tragic development, Indian wrestler and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali, has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Brijlal Hospital in Haldwani after he suffered a serious injury.
Here’s a video of the attack:
Khali, whose real name is Dalip Singh Rana, was scheduled to perform in two venues as part of his “The Great Khali Returns Series”. The first of these was in the Indira Gandhi International Sports Stadium in Gaula Par.

According to sources, Khali was attacked by international wrestlers as part of the plan. However, things seem to have gone horribly off-script as he was bleeding and genuinely hurt after being pummeled with a steel chair.
The wrestler had to be transported out of the arena in a stretcher and was spouting blood from his head. Khali answered a challenge by “The Strongest Man in Canada” Brody Steele and from the looks of it, was sprung upon by two to three other wrestlers as well during the match.
