WWE Hall of Fame 2017: Live Stream, TV Telecast Info, Inductees, and Schedule

WWE will be inducting 6 people into the Hall of Fame, Class of 2017

The 33rd edition of the grandest annual fiesta of the WWE, WrestleMania 33, is just less than a week away and there is a lot happening among the WWE circles. Rumour mills swirling about surprise returns, shocking outcomes etc. is all part of the WrestleMania buildup but there is something very special every year in addition to this.

The WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony is held during the WrestleMania week every year and the announcements of the inductions start happening as early as January.

WWE organises this event on a grand scale and it will be nothing but a visual treat to the fans as they get to see their most favourite wrestling heroes of all time at the same place.

As part of this article, let us have a look at the details of this year’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony-

Inductees:

The first HOF induction took place in 1993 with Andre The Giant being the sole inductee. This became a tradition from then on with many legends getting inducted into this coveted group. This year, WWE will be inducting 6 people into the Hall of Fame, Class of 2017. 

The names are as follows:

- Kurt Angle
- The Rock 'n Roll Express
- Diamond Dallas Page
- Beth Phoenix
- Rick Rude
- Teddy Long

It was also revealed that John Cena will induct Kurt Angle into the HOF.

Legacy inductees:

In addition to the above list, WWE has also included the following names into the list of WWE Hall of Fame Legacy inductees:

- Dr Jerry Graham
- Haystacks Calhoun
- Luther Lindsay
- Rikidozan
- June Byers
- Judy Grable
- Farmer Burns
- Toots Mondt

It was also announced that Eric LeGrand will receive the Warrior Award at the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. This is the second time WWE has announced a list of legacy inductees, having done it before in 2016. 

TV Schedule and Live Streaming details-

The Hall of Fame induction event will take place on 31st March 2017, Friday at 8 PM ET. The event will be held at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. Needless to mention, this will be a WWE Network exclusive event.

During the ceremony, the inductees will share their best experiences in WWE and they will receive their HOF rings from the boss, Vince McMahon. The repeat telecast is expected to be telecasted post-SmackDown.

The number of inductees into the WWE Hall of Fame will cross the 150 mark this year, with Ric Flair being the only Superstar to be inducted twice into the HOF in 2008 and 2012.
