WWE Hall of famer running for President?, Updated match card for Night of Champions
- In a recent interview with Minnesota Star Tribune, WWE Hall of famer and former Minnesota Governor spoke about his intent to get back into politics. In recent interviews, ‘The Body’ had mentioned about joining Donald Trump’s ticket, however there has been no formal invite from Trump’s presidential campaign.
Ventura claims to have been invited to next year’s Libertarian Party convention and is pondering about the possibility of running for President on that ticket, but he isn’t keen on joining the party. “I would challenge the American people to make history with me and elect the first president since George Washington, the father of our country, who does not belong to a political party.” said Ventura.
The former WWE Superstar hasn’t ruled out a second term as Minnesota Governor either. “People come up to me every day and tell me to run for governor.” says ‘The Body’.
