WWE Hall Of Famer to be the guest referee in the WrestleMania main event?

Triple H may have a close associate by his corner at WrestleMania 32

As we are on the road to WrestleMania 32, one thing is painstakingly obvious, Triple H would most likely defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns.

The Triple Threat match for the no.1 contenders spot between Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Brock Lesnar at Fastlane was booked to protect Reigns, and at the same time, set up the WrestleMania clash against The Game.

WrestleMania, being the grandaddy of all pay-per-views, needs extra star power to boost the ratings and WWE is reportedly planning on getting a Hall of Famer back to do the job.

According to wrestlingnews.com, Shawn Michaels is rumored to be the guest referee in the possible Triple H vs Roman Reigns match in Dallas on April 3rd. The speculated plans point to HBK being in Triple H’s corner and The Rock being in Reigns’s corner for the main event.

The report could have some weight to it as WWE have been trying to get HBK back for a non-wrestling role, and this would be an apt way to use the legend. It was also reported earlier, that the company even approached Michaels with an offer of being a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match, which obviously didn’t come to fruition.

With the big names out nursing injuries, getting big name legends and Hall Of Famers might be the only way to go for the WWE.
