WWE Hell In A Cell 2019: 5 matches likely to be added to the card
We are less than three weeks away from the next WWE pay-per-view, Hell in a Cell. Following a fairly decent Clash Of Champions show, it seems like some of WWE's biggest storylines are about to blow off at the right time.
Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks will continue their promising rivalry for the RAW Women's Championship inside Hell in a Cell. Also, Seth Rollins will defend his Universal Championship inside the structure against The Fiend, but there will be more matches aside from these two blockbusters.
WWE should ideally plan out the card in advance and limit the show to eight or nine matches, to gain optimum output from each one. Clash Of Champions saw eleven matches, including the Kickoff Show, mainly due to the 'every title will be defended' theme of the pay-per-view. This week's SmackDown has given us a fair idea of what to expect at Hell in a Cell, while RAW hasn't been quite as clear in any stories outside the two major Hell in a Cell matches.
While this list will not complete the entire match card, here are five matches that WWE could book for Hell in a Cell.
#5 AJ Styles vs Cedric Alexander (United States Championship)
After a big moment on RAW at Madison Square Garden, Cedric Alexander endured two difficult nights against AJ Styles. The pair's United States Championship match was demoted to the Kickoff Show at Clash Of Champions and Alexander lost in underwhelming fashion. He was then beaten again by the leader of the OC during a 6-man tag team match on RAW.
Adding insult to injury, the former 205 Live star was also assaulted by Styles, Gallows, and Anderson after both matches. If this is the end of his challenges, it would be very unfortunate for Alexander, however there is a chance he bounces back on next week's RAW to earn another title shot against AJ Styles at Hell in a Cell. He could even win the belt, creating a nice little redemption story.
