WWE: Hell In A Cell PPV predictions
It’s that time of the month again when we give our predictions of the outcomes of the next WWE PPV. In two more days, WWE will roll out with the Hell In A Cell PPV, and it is shaping up to be quite an interesting event.
The WWE championship will be decided inside the demonic cell structure, while a former champion returns to confront the World Heavyweight champion.
Also, one of the greatest wrestling families have had quite a successful month, and they look to continue their good fortunes as they take on not one, but two tag teams for the WWE Tag Team championships.
Also, one of the greatest feuds will culminate inside the Hell In A Cell, as the prodigal son takes on his former mentor and father figure, and his new “client”.
The fate of the Intercontinental championship will be decided on the pre – show, and last but not least, the WWE Divas championship will also be on the line this Sunday.
Without further ado, let us get right down to business.
Pre – show:
Curtis Axel (With Paul Heyman) vs. Big E Langston for the WWE Intercontinental championship
While WWE has finally turned Langston face, Curtis Axel still struggles to “legitimize” himself. Pairing Axel with Heyman should have worked wonders for the third generation superstar, but the fact of the matter is, WWE was more focused on the Heyman – Punk storyline that they essentially made Axel a third wheel – not a good sign when you’re trying to push someone as the future of the company.
Although Heyman is a wizard, even he couldn’t weave his wand and create magic with Axel. This Sunday, Axel might retain the title but lose the bout by disqualification, as I see a long program between Curtis and Big E.
Winner by DQ: Big E Langston
Main card:
Some more matches will likely be announced for the PPV, as superstars such as Dolph Ziggler, Bray Wyatt and the likes haven’t found themselves on the card, which is a gross mistake.
The Rhodes brothers vs. The Usos vs. Rollins and Reigns (With Dean Ambrose) in a triple threat tag team match for the WWE Tag Team championships
The United States Heavyweight champion isn’t even on the card, and so will likely be in the corner of the other two members of The Shield, as they look to win back the WWE Tag Team titles from the Rhodes brothers.
The Usos are also involved in the match, and if they’re given more than 15 minutes, this will likely be one of the best tag team matches of the year! This will likely be a sudden death one – fall match, and although I’m a huge fan of The Shield, I don’t see Goldust and Cody Rhodes losing the titles so soon.
The Rhodes brothers have had a fantastic month, and that will likely continue this Sunday at the HIAC PPV.
Winner (s) and still the WWE Tag Team champions: Goldust and Cody Rhodes
