Heyman talks Lesner's preparation, Undertaker, Cena-Rollins and more
The advocate of ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesner recently sat down for a Q&A session in Washington, DC, while promoting WWE SummerSlam, in which he praised the Undertaker, spoke about Cena vs Rollins and many other things. Excerpts from the interview are below:
On Lesner vs Undertaker and Brock’s preparation for the rematch from WrestleMania
Paul Heyman says that his client his ready to do the same thing he did back at WrestleMania 30 and that is to destroy The Undertaker. “He’s training, he’s hunting, he’s eating right, he’s getting ready to just walk in the ring and destroy The Undertaker.“ says Heyman.
The Undertaker dropped the streak to Brock Lesner and would not want to lose another match to him. Is Brock going to have to up his game?
Paul blasted back by saying that Undertaker is the one who has to up his game and says he doesn’t understand why people don’t understand the correlation. Paul was quick to say that the Undertaker didn’t want to lose, but he had no choice because he got his a** kicked by Brock Lesner. “
“He got his a** kicked by Brock Lesnar, he got beaten by Brock Lesnar, he got beat up by Brock Lesnar, he got victimized by Brock Lesnar, and he got conquered by Brock Lesnar. And the very same thing is going to happen next Sunday at SummerSlam.“ says Heyman.
On Paul saying that The Undertaker’s time is up and its Brock’s time
Paul clarified that that he never thought that Undertaker’s time was up and says that is putting words in his mouth. He says that even now, no one can stand in the ring with the Undertaker and he can take on anyone in a fight, as nobody will be able to stand up against him.
He says that, as Taker has lost something since WrestleMania, he is even more driven and hungry.
“The problem is, The Undertaker isn’t fighting a man, he’s fighting a beast. He’s fighting a conqueror. He’s fighting a once-in-a-lifetime athlete named Brock Lesnar. So it’s no slight to The Undertaker that he’s going to get his ass kicked by Brock Lesnar.” says Heyman
“Any human being who steps in the ring with Brock Lesnar is going to get his ass kicked. It’s not even a fair fight!” added Heyman.
On the title vs title match between Cena and Rollins
He says that the match is pretty interesting as somebody would walk out the undisputed champion with both the U.S and World Heavyweight belts, which is a great proposition.
By crediting both Cena and Rollins he says, “It’s a match with both titles on the line, which I think is a unique situation with two of the top stars of not only the past year but the past decade.”
