Hideo Itami to return soon? James Storm TV debut, Indie star rips off Triple H

Hideo Itami with Finn Balor

– Hideo Itami is an accomplished wrestler signed with the WWE. Itami or better known in the wrestling circuit as Kenta has been a revelation in the NXT.

With various talented superstars coming out of NXT such as Rollins, Owens, Sami Zayn and others, fans are excited to see Hideo make his debut on the main roster. The only thing stopping him in doing so is the injury that he has suffered. Itami suffered a legitimate shoulder injury before his match with Balor and Tyler Breeze.

Itami has been closely working with former WWE Superstar Funaki who helped him settle in the United States. Itami has been recuperating since May and is hopeful of making the main roster once he makes his return. Funaki posted some photos on twitter from London where Itami is undergoing rehab process. Here are the tweets.

– WWE had a tie up with the indie wrestling promotion EVOLVE. Its PPV event EVOLVE 49 was promoted widely by the WWE while superstar such as Sami Zayn also made an appearance at the show.

Ethan Page of EVOLVE came out in a t-shirt representing Triple H’s and also came out to Triple H’s music. He had an off-camera altercation with Sami Zayn. Below is the video of Page mocking Triple H.

– Former TNA star James Storm made his debut on NXT. Storm is a vastly experienced wrestler who has wrestled for TNA since its inception. James Storm made his debut against Danny Burch and defeated him after planting him with the 8-second ride.

WWE took a typical pot shot at TNA as they did not recognize his TNA work and rather say that he was working the indies since the last 15 years. Below is a video where Storm speaks with Tom Phillips about coming to WWE and says that if people don't like him, it’s their bad luck.
