The backstory

Earlier this year, Ricochet came up to the main roster and has now become a mainstay on Monday Night Raw. He teamed up with Aleister Black at WrestleMania 35, in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Title match, albeit in a losing effort.

Ricochet won the United States Title by defeating Samoa Joe at WWE Stomping Grounds and went into a rivalry with AJ Styles on Raw. This resulted in Styles turning heel, reforming The Club, and defeating Ricochet at Extreme Rules to win the title.

Despite losing the belt, the future looks bright for the high-flyer, with him being a personal favorite of Triple H.

The promo

Everyone goes through their share of blunder years at least once in their life. For Ricochet, this came in the form of a bad hairstyle, which he used to sport years ago, way before coming to WWE.

Before becoming a WWE Superstar, Ricochet honed his skills in the indies and spent a significant period of time in Chikara. A promo from Ricochet's Chikara days has surfaced online and shows the now bald Superstar boasting long hair, which doesn't exactly seem to fit him one bit.

Ricochet can be seen addressing his opponent Chuck Taylor, in a promo that shows how far he has come since then. The young Ricochet is visibly struggling to cut a decent promo here but somehow gets to the end of it. Check out the promo, though you'll have a hard time taking your attention off Ricochet's weird hairstyle, dropping which was one of the best decisions he has ever taken.

The aftermath

Ricochet is currently one of the most exciting Superstars on WWE's flagship show, Monday Night Raw. He has a promising future ahead of him and is capable of achieving great feats if used correctly.
