WWE history: Rare backstage photo shows Triple H searching talent at an indie event
The backstory
Many among the WWE Universe believe that NXT is the best show WWE produces on a regular basis. Triple H, the EVP of WWE, is hailed by WWE fans as someone who strives to give us the best NXT product possible. The TakeOver events that NXT comes up with always turn out to be the best PPVs of that particular weekend, including the premiere PPVs WWE's main roster participates in.
These TakeOver shows are the result of a collective effort on the part of NXT Superstars, backstage personnel, and Triple H. The Game always keeps his eyes open when it comes to scouting new talent to showcase inside the NXT ring, and eventually on the main roster.

The rare backstage photo
It's no secret that WWE makes it a point to keep a check on the indie scene, to hunt down talented athletes who could prove to be a good fit in the biggest wrestling company in the world.
A photo has recently surfaced on the web, which shows none other than WWE EVP Triple H, checking out an indie match from behind a curtain. The photo is apparently from an Evolve show. The promotion got into a partnership with WWE in 2015, which allows WWE to scout talent and sign them to the company's NXT brand. Here's the photo:
The aftermath
WWE has successfully signed several indie Superstars in the past, who went on to become megastars in the promotion. The likes of Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Kevin Owens, and many others became main eventers in the company. Hopefully, things will only get better, as Triple H takes over the entire company somewhere down the line.
