WWE history: When Brock Lesnar did the unthinkable in Triple H's office
The backstory
Remember Brock Lesnar's rivalry with Triple H, that kicked off in 2012 and stretched throughout the next year? The rivalry saw Lesnar face off against The Game on several occasions, with Triple H actually beating him at The Grandest Stage Of Them All.
The duo went toe to toe for the first time at SummerSlam 2012, in a match that ended with Triple H losing the match via submission. The rivalry was resumed on the road to WrestleMania 29 at MetLife Stadium.
After losing the match, Lesnar continued hounding Triple H, leading to the moment in question.
The destruction
The Beast and Paul Heyman invaded WWE's Stamford HQ one morning and began harassing the office staff. They steadily made their way towards their intended destination, and found Triple H's office. Lesnar proceeded to destroy everything that came in his path. He demolished Triple H's laptop and a bunch of memorabilia. He then proceeded to destroy the World Heavyweight Title using Triple H's sledgehammer.
The destruction came to an end after Brock threw a large TV on the wall behind Triple H's desk. As the duo left the office, the viewers could see the carnage left behind by The Beast. The camera panned to the wall that Lesnar had ruined by throwing the TV, showing the now destroyed WWE logo. This was a sign of things to come, signifying the fact that Lesnar was going to destroy the WWE locker room for years to come, one by one.
On the May 6th edition of Monday Night Raw, Paul Heyman showed the footage to the WWE Universe on the titantron, as the live crowd watched in awe.
The aftermath
Triple H and Brock Lesnar met inside a steel cage on May 19th, which ended with Lesnar putting down The Game and ending the rivalry for good.
