Huge match added to the Royal Rumble 2016 card

Would Ambrose be the ‘Last Man Standing’?

As announced on Smackdown, Dean Ambrose would be defending his title against Kevin Owens in a Last Man Standing match at the Royal rumble pay-per-view on the 24th of January at Amway Centre, Orlando, Florida.

Dean Ambrose was viciously blindsided on this week’s RAW by Kevin Owens, who administered a beating to Ambrose to make his intentions clear of reclaiming the title he lost to the Lunatic Fringe.

The stipulation of the match guarantees a brutal and physical encounter, and no it won’t be on lines of what Michael Cole terms as physical – this would be brutality at its best.

The match is already the frontrunner to be the show stealer and the best WWE has to offer for the night – from an in-ring perspective that is – that could see the end of the Ambrose-Owens rivalry.

Royal Rumble will be live from Orlando on 24th of this month and has two matches set to feature as announced by the WWE. Roman Reigns would defend his World Heavyweight title in the Royal Rumble match against 29 other men.

The other likely matches to be added in the build-up to the event would be the United States Championship match between Alberto Del Rio – who won the title back from Kalisto on Smackdown – against the masked Luchador, who would be gunning to undo the forgettable run he had with the title.

The Divas Championship would also be on the line by the looks of it, with Charlotte defending against Becky Lynch.
