With John Cena, Big Show, Kane, Ziggler, Rusev etc taking part in the event, it is clear that WWE is keen on expanding on its growing fanbase in the sub-continent. The match card looks exciting with some former memorable rivalries(Cena vs. Big Show, Cena vs. Rusev) mixed with some present day ones(Ziggler vs. Breeze, Charlotte vs. Nikki, Usos vs. New Day).
WWE has taken utmost care in bringing the best of their talent for this outing and that would mean that the crowds in India have a great show on their hands.
This outing coming after 13 long years holds a lot of significance. There has been a mammoth increase in the number of Indian viewers watching WWE on TV. It would be a very unique and special experience for the fans to watch their favourite stars perform before them live.
For most of the guys that are advertised for the show, this is their first visit to India and that would mean that it would be a great opportunity for them to improve their fan base all around the globe.
Also, most of the visiting superstars being young, an exposure early in their career to the raving crowds in India would help them a lot in the long run.
‘The face that runs the place’, John Cena, is sure to draw a lot of kids to the event which means that today’s young generation of India would be the WWE fans of tomorrow. The fans would obviously love to witness epic battles like Cena vs. Rusev and Kane vs. Big Show and these two days(15th and 16th) in Delhi promises to be just that.
