WWE/Indie News: ROH posts video of Bryan vs Rollins vs Omega triple threat
What’s the story?
Ring of Honor has released a rare triple threat match between Kenny Omega, Bryan Danielson and Tyler Black. For those of you who don’t know, those last two names are Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins, and all three men are still thriving in some way or another to this day.
In case you didn’t know...
WWE is full of top tier ROH alumni right now with the likes of Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Austin Aries, Sami Zayn, Cesaro and many more plying their trade in the independent promotion. The company has a long and illustrious history, and as such, even WWE have shown interest in obtaining their library of matches over the years.
The heart of the matter
This gem of a triple threat match was uploaded courtesy of Throwback Thursday, with ROH continuing to reveal matches of years gone by for fans to enjoy. The bout in question between Bryan, Rollins and Omega took place in Markham, Ontario in November 2008. From start to finish it’s 13 minutes of great wrestling, with all three men blending their styles together perfectly.

What’s next?
ROH will continue to upload more Throwback Thursdays in the coming weeks, with a lot of fans interested to see more unique combinations like this. In terms of their wrestling futures, Bryan’s is still up in the air. Meanwhile, Omega is currently embroiled in a chase for the World Title in NJPW. As we all know, he and Rollins are finisher buddies of sorts now, so it’d be cool to see them lock horns again one day down the line.
Author’s take
This match was a lot of fun to watch, and it makes us wonder just how much better it’d be nine years on. Obviously, DB hasn’t wrestled in a while, and the other two are in different companies, but it’s not entirely out of the realms of possibility just yet. Who knows, maybe a variation of this bout will take place at a WrestleMania somewhere down the line.
