What's the story?

Following the aftermath of this week's episode of Raw, WWE took to social media and confirmed the news that former WWE Champion, Dean Ambrose is reportedly set to leave the company following WrestleMania 35.

The news has seemingly taken the entire Pro Wrestling world by storm and one man who wants a piece of 'The Lunatic Fringe' is a certain superstar from the UK.

In case you didn't know...

Having signed with the WWE in 2011, Dean Ambrose got his first big break in the company when he made his initial main roster debut alongside Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns as part of the trio known as The Shield in 2012 at Survivor Series.

On their first night on the main roster, The Shield would annihilate Ryback and would put him through a table, allowing then WWE Champion, CM Punk to retain his title by pinning John Cena.

Ambrose would win his first championship in the WWE within the next few months, as he captured the WWE US Title. However, after The Sheild eventually split in 2014, Ambrose finally won the WWE Championship and by 2017 became a Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion in the company.

The heart of the matter

After the conclusion of this week's episode of Raw, which saw Dean Ambrose being attacked by Nia Jax, in what was seemingly the beginning of a fresh new storyline for the former WWE Champion, 'The Lunatic Fringe' reportedly notified WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon that he would not be renewing his contract with the company.

With Ambrose reportedly set to depart following WrestleMania 35, one particular star who has laid out a challenge to the former CZW World Heavyweight Champion is none other than the experienced Deathmatch campaigner himself, Jimmy Havoc.

In a recent tweet, Havoc stated that he wants a shot at Jon Moxley, who by far was one of the craziest stars' to ever step foot in a CZW ring, just like Jimmy Havoc is.

What's next?

WWE WrestleMania 35 is still a few months away, however, given the fact that WWE themselves have confirmed Ambrose's departure it remains to be seen, what the future actually has in store for the former WWE Champion.

Will he return to the Independent Circuit or will he jump ship to AEW? Only time will tell.
