WWE issues statement on fan entering the ring, Cena grants wish, new website poll

WWE has issued a statement vowing to prosecute fans who enters the ring.

- As we reported on Sunday night, a fan jumped the guard rail and hit the ring while Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose were staring down The Wyatt Family, prior to Chris Jericho being introduced as their mystery partner.

The fan ended up being taken down and out of the ring by security, Jericho came out as planned, and the match went on, as did the remainder of the show, without any additional interference from the fan, or other fans.

As this is the second time in recent weeks that WWE has had a fan jump the rail, coincidentally enough during Ambrose matches in both cases, WWE issued the following statement:

“WWE takes the safety of our performers very seriously and any fan entering the ring area will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Due to the recent string of WWE fan incidents, the word is that the company is looking at pursuing the most stringent prosecution possible for all future fan incidents, according to PWInsider. WWE usually issues lifetime bans to fans who hop the barrier but having them charged criminally will obviously cause a lot of headaches for the fans who breaks the rules.

- WWE’s website has a new poll asking fans what was the most significant title win at Night of Champions – Charlotte winning the Divas Title over Nikki Bella, Kevin Owens winning the Intercontinental Title over Ryback or John Cena winning the United States Title over Seth Rollins. With over 2,000 votes, 48% have voted for Charlotte’s win while 37% voted for Cena’s win. Speaking of Cena, he granted another Make-A-Wish Wish before last night’s pay-per-view. Here he is with Wish Kid Mason:
