Jim Ross on CM Punk's MMA future, "WWE Fast Lane" PPV note, more
- In Jim Ross's latest blog at JRsBarBQ.com, JR blogged about MMA camps being interested in CM Punk and Punk's future in MMA. He wrote:
"I'm told that multiple, high level MMA camps are keenly interested in training CM Punk for his first UFC fight which has yet to be set. Like it or not, everyone should be able to chase their dreams and that's simply all Punk is doing. I don't understand the angst some fans of both wrestling and MMA with this decision. How Punk will fare is anyone's guess but if his first match is on a PPV the event will do well financially for all involved. I eventually see Punk becoming a MMA TV analyst at some point in his career."
Much more is contained in Ross' latest blog, including his thoughts on Sunday's WWE TLC PPV, working on a story on Darren Drozdov, his latest podcast with Sean Waltman and much more.
