WWE: Jim Ross returns to Monday night but not for Raw
WWE Hall of Famer, Jim Ross, will return to a Cable TV for calling a Monday night show. But it won’t be for the WWE or any pro wrestling match for that matter.
The former WWE ringside commentator will be one of the several personnels of a Memorial Day boxing special broadcast team which will airing on Monday night at 9:00 p.m. EST on Fox Sports 1.
Rene Alvarado vs. Rocky Juarez will be the main event match in the two-hour special which will be held in El Paso, Texas. The show will compete for USA Network’s broadcast ratings against WWE’s weekly Monday Night Raw.
On Sunday night, ahead of the fight card promoted by Oscar De La Hoya’s company Golden Boy Live, Ross completed the fighter meetings as he mentioned in his twiiter account.
Ross has a partnership deal with Fox Sports and the boxing event is one of the various projects that he will feature in.
